About Come As You Are Fellowship

Come As You Are Fellowship is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. We strive to be a
place where you can "come as you are" and feel welcomed and loved no matter what your
circumstances. We also strive to be a place where God is using His Word and His people to
transform us into the image of His Son.

In keeping with the example of the New Testament church we are led by a group of Elders who
operate as servant-leaders, under the authority of Christ, to oversee, provide for, and
encourage the church. Darby Livingston is our Teaching-Elder and provides most of the
preaching and teaching. During our Sunday Morning Celebrations we try to focus on the
majesty and transcendence of God, as we praise Him and get instruction from His Word through
expository preaching.

We also meet in small groups (cells) in homes throughout the week. We believe that these cells
are just as much a part of church as Sunday morning. This is where accountability and ministry
take place. This is where we can keep close relationships within the church even as membership
grows.

We at CAYAF call ourselves Christian Hedonists. This means that we believe that God is happy
and that He is glorified when His people are happy in Him. God is the only source of true, eternal
happiness. Through Jesus Christ He has provided us access to Him and to fullness of joy and
pleasures forevermore! So everything we do at Come As You Are Fellowship is meant to glorify
God by increasing our joy in Him.
